Amalie Termannsen is a practicing Danish artist who has been living in New Zealand since 1996. Currently finishing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the ELAM School of Fine Arts in Auckland, she is influenced by place, socio-economic issues and cultural differences, working predominantly in painting, drawing, installation and photography. Amalie has produced illustrations and cover work for Flute Focus since 2004 and has had work exhibited in various group shows at the Auckland Art Gallery, George Fraser Gallery and Projectspace B431. www.amalietermannsen.com
