After completing music studies in NZ, Germany and the USA, Alisa returned home to work with orchestras and flute students in NZ., and is currently freelancing with the NZSO and APO, teaching at Auckland University,  and playing with two trios. She especially loves to explore sound through free improvisation collaborations.
